And as words travel, I was chosen to do the art for Maroon 5&#8217;s new album.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.maroon5br.com\/site\/images\/youngandsick\/youngandsick-maroon5-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>What is the concept behind &#8220;Overexposed&#8221;&#8216;s artwork?<\/strong><br \/>\nThere simply is none. It&#8217;s pure freedom. I started drawing, and didn&#8217;t stop until the page was full. To my surprise, the band liked it from the first draft. After a couple small edits, Overexposed had a face.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.maroon5br.com\/site\/images\/youngandsick\/youngandsick-maroon5-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>How was the creative process?<\/strong><br \/>\nI did the draft on an A3 piece of paper at a friends house in Amsterdam. I then took it back to London to scan and color in photoshop and illustrator.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Have you heard the album? What&#8217;s your favorite track?<\/strong><br \/>\nYes, I always listen to the music I make art for.
